About
For many years, I’ve been fascinated by the space between aspiration and belonging.
A remarkable brand creates aspiration. A remarkable experience creates belonging. The conversations that matter most begin in the moments titles are forced to fade into the background and people simply experience something together.
Over the past fifteen years, my work has taken me through boardrooms, political campaigns, corporate partnerships, private events, and founder-led organizations. Each experience looked different on the surface, but they all taught me the same lesson: meaningful progress begins with trust.
My career began in the staffing industry, where I had the privilege of learning from many of the leaders helping shape America’s workforce. Those boardrooms became my classroom, teaching me how exceptional leaders think, communicate, build trust, and make decisions that shape an industry and the people who depend on its success.
As my work evolved, so did the opportunities. I found myself operating alongside elected officials, business leaders, entrepreneurs, nonprofit organizations, and remarkable founders across the country. Every room expanded my perspective, every relationship taught me something new, and every challenge reinforced the same truth: extraordinary things are accomplished when the right people are on board and properly aligned.
The events and experiences I build are simply an expression of how I think. Whether I’m shaping a brand, producing an event, or solving a complex problem, I begin the same way: by understanding each standpoint, recognizing connections others often miss, and creating pathways that allow everyone involved to accomplish more together than they could alone.
Consistently I’ve found that well-thought-out experiences have a way of accelerating what matters most. They dissolve hierarchy, create common ground, and make room for the kinds of conversations that build trust, strengthen relationships, and promote the success of all players across the board.
Street cred over credit
The Collective
I’ve spent years building relationships with some of the most talented people in their respective fields. Today, those relationships have become one of my greatest assets, allowing me to bring together exceptional people who trust one another, work seamlessly together, and consistently deliver at the highest level.

My father dedicated his life to serving the people of South Carolina. He was a respected leader who believed that when something truly mattered, you found a way to make it happen.
One day, we were faced with what seemed like an impossible situation. A young Make-A-Wish girl had one wish: to meet a well-known college football player on the field at Furman University. The player had been in Miami the night before, missed the flight home and with time running out, it seemed her wish might not become a reality.
My father immediately called Jody because he was convinced she could get it done.
Within hours, Jody found someone already flying privately from Fort Lauderdale to Greenville and somehow convinced them to bring the player home. She then helped coordinate with local law enforcement to escort him directly from the FBO to Furman University. He arrived just in time, and because of the combined efforts of so many people, that little girl’s wish came true that day.
When people ask me what makes Jody exceptional, I think of my father telling his team, “Call Jody.” He knew she’d find a way, and she did.
